Creating Social Change for Women

A lecture by Tiffani Sharp, founder of Willow Tree Roots, a nonprofit dedicated to empower women through entrepreneurship so they can be socioeconomically independent.

This event is hosted by Professor Fairchild’s Global Women’s Issues class and is open to the public. The event is co-sponsored by the International Studies Program and the Cultural Awareness Center. About Tiffani Sharp

Tiffani Sharp is the Founder and Executive Director of Willow Tree Roots, an international nonprofit for women. She is an attorney specializing in international law with offices i Sacramento and Modesto. She has spent over a 15 years advocating for the legal rights of the underrepresented and has volunteered much of her time assisting women from vulnerable populations. She has traveled the world, volunteering in orphanages and working with women to improve their socioeconomic status. This inspired Tiffani to start Willow Tree Roots. Her next project is closer to home, in Sacramento. The Power of SHE will help young women between the ages of 16-22 turn their business ideas into a reality by providing them with the tools and mentorship needed to help them become entrepreneurs.
